Updated Jan 19/24: I recently returned To take Owner up on offer to make things right. The food was great. The service was wonderful and I really appreciated the offer to make things right . I updated my original post to reflect this. . Thank you. I come to this restaurant every time I’m in the mood for a Shawarma wrap they make the best in my Neighborhood. In my opinion. Always very happy with my food and service until tonight. My wrap was burnt. The chicken inside was dry and way overcooked. My poutine had barely any gravy or cheese on it. The service was great as usual but I am sorely disappointed in my food this time.

With every every bite, as your teeth sink in to the layer of bread, gyro, and veggies, the mix of delicious juices flooding on your tongue, makes you realize why this place needs more recognition. One cute little take out shop, no fancy branding, small crew, and a lot of heart in their work. This is an example of why family owned businesses are better than big corporation run chains. The flavor was just right. Special shout out to Mahmood and Mahmooda, they were really polite and seems like they really know their customers. Keep up the good work guys. I had the Beef Gyro Pita wrap. This was by far one of the best gyro wraps I have ever had. Most other places overload their servings with sauces to give it the right flavor. This one was just loaded with the flavorful gyro and right amount of veggies and no overpowering sauces. Just the right amount. Highland Halal Shawarma, Highly recommended.

He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Fantastic gyro combo, two gyros and two soft drinks $12.99! Very tasty, very juicy every bite tastes great especially with hot sauce added. We added all our toppings on the gyros otherwise it’s truly not worth the taste! The staff are super efficient, work well under pressure this mini restaurant which is really a dine out and pick up venue is a bustling hustling place. One must wait for their orders on peak volume times between 10-15 minutes but it’s worth the wait! I can see why they were voted gold in the records readers choice awards! Well deserved!

Delicious! Busy, but still pretty fast! Very professional and well packaged. I saw like 5 other people come and go while i waited outside since they told me my order would take 15min. Only complaint is that they don’t have the classic pink pickled turnip i expect from all gyro/shawarma places.
